Description

The Baicells Nova243 is an outdoor LTE TDD base station (eNodeB) designed for private network deployments across Bands 41, 42, 43, and 48. With dual 10W output power and 2x2 MIMO, it delivers stable LTE coverage in lightly populated or hard-to-reach areas. Weighing under 25 lbs and built to IP67 standards, it’s well-suited for outdoor installations where durability and ease of deployment are critical.

The Nova243 supports up to 96 concurrent users and offers GUI-based local or remote management. It can operate with an external EPC or Baicells' embedded HaloB core, and supports common backhaul configurations including IPsec.

Available in band-specific variants. This model supports Band 42 and 43.

Deployment Requirements

To deploy the Nova243, you’ll need:

  • SAS registration: Only required for CBRS Band 48 deployments.
  • IP backhaul: Public or private, with IPSec if required.
  • EPC or core network: Cloud-hosted, local, or embedded via HaloB.
  • Power and mounting: Standard bracket kit and power supply included. Site power and mounting hardware (pole or wall) to be provided.
  • GPS antenna for synchronization: Included. We can provide upgraded outdoor GPS antennas for longer cable runs or poor signal conditions.

Standing up a private network can get involved — from hardware selection and integration, to network design, software configuration, and user device onboarding. Our team of experts can help deliver a complete solution, whether you’re looking for just the parts or a full turnkey deployment. Reach out here to get started.
